Inspired by traditional indienne textiles, originating in India and painted between the 17th and 19th centuries, this design is exquisite in embroidery. Intricate stitches are layered on a printed ground, creating an elevated feature design. A timeless celebration of intricate patterns and heritage, this enchanting design is named after the Marchioness of Salisbury, whose work on the Highgrove estate is notable.
